Virtual S1K powewred by Castrol Delivers Thrilling 1000km Showdown at Sepang International Circuit

Sepang, 29 November 2025 — The atmosphere at Sepang North Paddock Club 2 was electric as the Virtual S1K Powered by Castrol 2025 concluded with intense wheel-to-wheel battles, smart strategy, and an impressive showcase of Malaysia’s rapidly growing esports racing community.

Organised by Sepang International Circuit, sanctioned by the Motorsport Association of Malaysia (MAM), and proudly powered by Castrol Malaysia, this year’s event brought together 10 formidable teams, each consisting of four dedicated sim racers. Together, they faced the ultimate challenge — a 1000km virtual endurance race demanding precision, discipline, and exceptional teamwork.

A Gruelling Test of Endurance

Across 7 hours of non-stop racing, participants pushed the limits of concentration and consistency. The event not only highlighted the depth of local esports talent but also reinforced the rising prominence of virtual endurance racing as a legitimate and competitive motorsport discipline in Malaysia.

Teamwork, pit strategies, tyre management, and racecraft played pivotal roles in determining the final standings, proving once again that esports racing mirrors the excitement and complexity of real-world motorsport.

🥇 P1 – Team RR Turismo

Team RR Turismo delivered a commanding performance, showcasing consistent pace and flawless teamwork to secure the top step of the podium.

A strategic and steady drive earned Gladius Competition a well-deserved second place.


🥉 P3 – Team V2A AES

  • Mior Muhammad Hafiz

  • Mohd Taufiq Mohyin

Team V2A AES completed the podium after a strong showing marked by resilience and calculated pit strategies.
